Cake on the lip stick (chapstick doesn't work the same). Even at night. The sooner you start the better. You'll be suprised.
After you have the baby and finish feeding then take Lysine (from the drug store and it's inexpensive) for a week or so. It will make you thirsty but it really does something to the virus so that you will get less fever blisters in the future. I haven't had one for about 2 years now.
PS. Don't trip about what the lady above said about it causing problems. If 90% of adults have the antibodies for HSV-1 then I guess that is the reason for all our problems.
Herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) is usually associated with infections of the lips, mouth, and face. It is the most common herpes simplex virus and is usually acquired in childhood. HSV-1 often causes lesions inside the mouth such as cold sores (fever blisters) and is transmitted by contact with infected saliva. By adulthood, up to 90% of individuals will have antibodies to HSV-1

The herpes simplex virus (HSV-1) creates cold sores (aka fever blisters). You may be infected with them by drinking from someone else's cup, used utensils, shared lip balm, or lip contact with anybody which is carrying HSV-1. The red bumps can be moderately troublesome blisters that can appear next to the mouth area, or perhaps even the interior of your mouth or nose, elsewhere on your face, or in other places on your body.
Cold sores can appear because of higher stress and anxiety, the common cold, a fever, cold conditions, certain foods, and also an excess of sunlight. The region may begin to tingle, itch, or burn, then the sore could surface. The sore can dry out and produce a yellow-colored crusting. They will last anywhere from seven days to two weeks. An individual can try to mask the cold sore using cosmetics, but that usually would make it worse.
To get rid of them, an individual can try covering them with a cold sore specific product, use lip balm with SPF 15, dab witch hazel, get echinacea, vitamins C and also vitamin E, as well as definitely preventing touching the cold sore. By implementing some changes in lifestyle, it really is possible to reduce them and stifle cold sores from reappearing.

I got identified with genital herpes (type 2) about four yrs ago, whilst I was still attending college and had a foolish one-night stand. I realize a lot of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date other men again. After all, who wants to go out with someone that has sores round her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/fdMjg everything improved.
Not only was I able to eradicate all traces of the herpes virus from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This program provided the opportunity to be happy and experience real love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

You can use a topical cold sore ointment on it. There is a web site that I use www.safefetus.com to get their input on medication that I can take during my pregnancy. I am 29 wks pregnant. I unfortunately suffer from herpes. I can take and will have to Zovirax in my last month to prevent any outbreaks prior to delivery. I hope this helps.
