There's still a flat earth society out there. There's still people who don't accept evolution (one of them heads a rather large country).
Save your breath and talk to people who don't slurp Rove pablum like it's ambrosia.

well some people are just idiots BUT IMO there was WMD....why do I think that...well I saw the night pics of the HUGE convoy heading out of Iraq the day before the invasion, plus to be honest the English Military have ALWAYS been told that the USA knows they have the weapons because they sold them to that country.
Regardless of if there is / was or NEVER was I still feel that the USA and UK have done the right thing or at least did the right thing by removing Saddam [felt they should have stayed in the last time and done it right THEN] but its almost as if the two countries are now not sure of their next move...if they leave then its all gonna kick off again..if they stay it will cause more and more resentment............basically a catch 22...........have always felt that remaining AFTER the capture of Saddam has put the USA into this generations Vietnam, started with good intentions but man on the ground losses that COULD have been avoided.
I also feel that politics and religion etc should not ever really be a good work place conversation.............
Regards

There are people who still believe Americans never went to the moon. Still there is a good conspiracy claim the WMD's were found but it is top-secret because this is a very advanced weapon
that has been investigated and uncovered by the CIA. With Bush who knows really.

They've already found some. About a year ago i believe, they discovered of 500 munitions of WMDs. For all we know they could have found more and not told us. Remember the military doesn't tell us everything. You're also forgetting the we gave Iraq the WMDs. You're also forgetting that he used them on his own people. You're also forgetting that there is no proof or eveidence that they were destroyed. Look it up, the facts are in front of you.

do a search of General Sada and find out what he said about moving the wmds to Syria.he was the Daily Show and told how he was responsible for the moving of them, when he moved them and Jon Stewart said I do not care to believe you. there were whole military bases missing before we started war. look up Oct. 24 2004 when John Kerry and John Edwards were ranting about a military base missing all there weapons. including the firing pin for an atomic bomb ( they both made jester of their thumbs on the triggers while talking about it) which is the hardest part of a nuclear bomb to have. there are 100,000"s dead Iraq's that were poisoned. you had the chief inspector of the UN inspection team quit because of the way the US would not help in finding them.

Your poor co-worker, if I was him I'd ask to be moved to a department way on the other side of the workplace. You say you are open and willing to give everyone a chance even if they disagree which he does. So now you are saying cause he doesn't think like you and refuses to hes a neoconservative who's opinion doesn't carry any weight? OK---

Saddam had WMDs for the entire 1st Gulf/Iraq war (1991) & US Govt. barely mentioned or tried to destroy them (which the US military could have easily done). Why? Because Saddam's WMDs did NOT pose any threat to the USA & even if he had WMDs in 2003 they still did NOT pose a threat to the USA. But they did seriously threaten Israel (but their military wasn't big enough to stop Saddam). Who could they get to invade Iraq for them?

If there had been any WMD's found in Iraq, Bush would have already paraded them down Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington. I am surprised, though, he hasn't taken some American missiles, scraped off the American flags, and tried to have his little parade.
The basic truth is there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The evidence was all based on lies and innuendo.

Sir, with all due respect, we have found weapons of mass destruction.
1) June 23, 2004: 1.77 tons of enriched uranium, reported by BBC news. (they have never been behind the war)
2) polish military intelligent officers bought seventeen warheads with cyclosarin....5 times stronger than sarin gas....this gas was said to be destroyed by Iraq between 91-98.
3) 1500 gallons of chemical agents were found in Mosul on Aug.8 2005.
4) there have been many roadside bombs, and canon shells that have been used against the allied troops, and found, that contained both mustard gas and sarin gas. These are all documented....and yet you are the one not believing......why is it that the truth can be heard, and agreed to by you Libs? it hurts the country and they war effort.

OK, so you have a conversation with a coworker, and you call him a neocon......Somehow, I don't believe that you are as open minded as you claim to be. As far as weapons...you need not look any further than Syria. Even Saddam's generals admitted that they shipped them out while we were debating the invasion in the UN. And I guess the 500 or so shells that the Marines found don't count?
And we STILL don't have an accounting for the weapons that Hans Blix said were there. No record of destruction, shipment, or use. Everyone knew they were there, and now we can't find them. Not being able to find something isn't the proof that they don't exist.
Amelia Earhart has yet to be found, nor has Jimmy Hoffa....does that mean they never existed???? I think not.
