Once cuban people are finally free from this tyrannical ruler, do you believe Raul will open up migration? I would love for the cuban-americans to move back to Cuba and create a democracy there, overthrowing the communist finally, once and for all.

Perhaps statehood or a commonwealth status if they need help getting cuba back on its legs.

What makes you think the Miami Mafia has any interest in democracy, or any support among the Cuban people?

I would love to see the US lift its trade embargo and allow Cuba to finally develop as an independent country, instead of a colony.

Once Fidel dies, his brother, Raul, will work to tighten his gripe on power. He will not be looking to make new friends outside those he is currently forging today, with other countries like Venezuela. It may be a matter of time, though, before communism does finally collapse in this small Caribbean nation.

You'll have to wait until all the old guard dies....just like the USSR...the newer and younger govt will be more open to progress......and american factories will want to go there for the cheap labour.
