Cant be exact but I can remember snow at Spring Bank Holiday in the North of England in the late 1970s.

Before the very hot summer of 1976 there was snow in Birmingham on 1st June. We then had no rain at all until September

I have seen it snow in May several times. But here in Minnesota that isn't unusual at all.

Um, that depends on where you live. Where I live (in Buffalo, NY) we did see some snowflakes in May like 4 years ago. Totally depressing.
