Only if they were frozen after they reached the 'dormant' stage... then they can be thawed and will revive but it amy take a while to sprout

Well, they need to thaw out first. The folks that told you it depends on the plant are right. Some seeds keep best if they are frozen, some seeds need to be frozen first in order to sprout, and some seeds will be killed if they are frozen.

it all depends on the seed some seeds need to freeze and some it will kill. others will die if they dry out and some when kept dry will last for thousands of years till the conditions are just right for them to sprout.
so to answer your question better it would help to know what seeds you have.

Sure they will - how many plants drop seeds in the early fall and then in the spring you find new plants growing everywhere? I have several annuals in my garden that produce thousands of seeds - in the spring I have new plants everywhere! I live in Ohio - will get freezing weather.

no. seeds will only sprout if the conditions are right, as in lots of sunlight, good temperature, good moisture, etc.
