i heard you can keep shotguns in your house...but are there anymore that you can keep in your house legally?

Gun laws vary from state to state, county to county, city to city.
You would have to check your specific residences laws & ordinces. Example: where I am in CA.. a shot gun or any other legally purchased gun I can have in my house no problem. In NYC you need a permit to have same said shotgun even in your house. But you dont in other parts of New York state.

If it's legal for you to own, it's legal for you to keep in your house.

It depends on how old you are and where you live and if you have ever been convicted of a felony
