do you mean there is a password on the bios ?
how old is the pc ? can you get a copy of the system restore disc.
do you have a separate os disc if so boot from that and you can then get more specific help on what options to chose to do a fresh install

computer shoulda come with a disc to use to repartition the hard drive, which wipes everything,. You'll need to reinstall all the software, drivers etc.
