wireless remote?

I am working on a school project, (making a remote control car) and I was wondering how I would make it wireless? I have it set up to a wired remote, but I need to make it wireless... any ideas how I can do that with household items?

You need to call the hobby shop in your area that specializes in wireless remote scale models. They can help you. I don't believe you can do it with household items.
