I'd like be in control over many things but in the real world most people have little control over most things. I, like most other people, make the best of what life throws at us. I exercise control where I can, though I don't go out of my way to belittle or harm others in order to do it. Even when we make small or large decisions they are always limited by external influences.

What do you mean. In the movie or at the movie? If in the movie sometime characters are written that way to seem purposely OCD. Have you seen the show Monk, he is OCD and does things a certain way, each day.
If that is not what you mean then I can't help you.
However as per my Monk example he is also very smart and often see things before other people or in additional to what others have seen.
I have an easier time believing a character like that then one like a Bruce Willis who can get cut up in one scene and be back to normal a few scenes later.

True control is an illusion. The crane must fly south with the winter wind.
