Do not go gentle into that good night,

Old age should burn and rave at close of day;

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,

Because their words had forked no lightning they

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright

Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,

And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight

Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,

Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

This is Dylan Thomas's poem about his dying father. The theme is the fight for life, the rejection of a quick and easy death. He's urging his father to struggle against death with the courage and fierceness of warriors and savages. For Thomas, life itself was a great battle and the end should be met with not just courage but also a ferocious love of life.

perhaps those other 5 girls you mentioned are also flirtatious or what that's why the boys hated them. i don't know if you have seen that debate thing on bbc. one team said that the scarf should still be worn until now, while the other one said that nowadays, muslim women should be allowed to not wear the scarf. they had good points there about the wearing of the scarf. anyway, i think it isn't fair for the 'accultured' muslims to be hated because they don't wear the scarf.i for one don't wear the scarf, not yet. but i still dress properly, no mini skirts whatsoever.but i cannot avoid being mistaken as a kafir. and yea, i do practice my faith . it is just that i don't wear the scarf,long-sleeved blouses and long skirts. i have this friend who is also a muslim. but they wear revealing clothes, they drink on certain occasions, and they don't practice their faith. perhaps, rarely.whenever she shares, i sort of feel angry because even though she's a proud muslim, they don't act the way a muslim should act. it's like they're just muslims by the name. well, she's still my friend though.
