I'm doing a project on landmarks, that have to be in Europe. Is it in Europe? sorry that it's in this section.

I've been to Turkey and particularly, to the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. ISTANBUL isn't divided by European and nonEuropean sections, but it's important to note that Turkey, as a whole, is seeking entrance into the European Union. That said, more Turks with asian features tend to live farther to the eastern side of Turkey. The Republic of Turkey is considered "transcontinental".

All of Istanbul is in Europe, so technically it's a European landmark. I prefer the Hagia Sophia, myself.
