you can put it strait on the wind shield if you want to,it wont hurt a thing,,sometimes this is good for helping get a layer of ice off of it,,but it wont hurt anything to do this,good luck with it,i hope this help.s.

both ways are just fine .. directly to clean (best if not on the car paint) and in the resevoir for use on the road ....

Yes you can use it direct a lot of gas stations use it in their washer buckets.

won't hurt, it's the same, I actually use it like Windex in a spray bottle myself.
