I often catch myself slouching over and starting to cause problems for my back. Im only 25 and don't want this to cause problems for me later. Its already starting to hurt. How can I get myself to straighten up without having to feel pain before I realize what Im doing and sit up?

Assuming you are female there are bras that help keep your back straight, for good posture. Maybe that might help you. Slouching often becomes a habit. Have people you are close to tell you every time you are slouching so you can fix it and maybe get into a better routine of fixing the slouching on your own.

good question. I have the same problem. when I started reading this it reminded me to sit up straight. I have managed to make a mental note to try and sit up straight more than I slouch. If you are having a lot of troubles try setting a timer for every ten minutes or so and when it goes off pay attention to if you are slouching or not. Eventually you will be sitting proper without having to use the timer.

IF you go to any physical therapist or doctor, they have this thing (idk what its called) but you strap it around your chair or carseat and it basically makes you sit up straight. I used one of those and still do and i adore it! sorry idk what its called but u can find out with ease.
