I know that this s a controversial question and I am not asking it to bash people's well-informed and thoughtful (please note the well-informed and thoughtful) opinions, but because I am genuinely interested in other's perspectives on this. I personally believe that any relationship between two loving and consenting adults should be respected regardless of their gender. I also believe that society needs to recognize equal marriage rights for homosexuals and not outcast or look down upon a person based on their sexuality. I feel very strongly about this, but I am willing to listen to and discuss different points of views rationally. Please comment.

Hmm...It seems to me that the two main reasons that people use to back up their opinion that homosexuality is wrong is either because they find it unnatural or it goes against their religious beliefs (namely Christianity).
In terms of calling it unnatural, you have to be able to clearly define and know what natural is. Is the natural definition of having a partnership or being sexually active purely for the purpose of reproducing, or can they be for happiness and to enjoy the company of someone you love? With our already overpopulated Earth, I tend to think that it is more important for there to be happiness and intimincey (I just butchered that word with my spelling) in a relationship before people should ever even think of reproducing. I hope that this doesn't make it sound like I think sex should just be a free for all (because I don't), but I do think that reproduction is not the only purpose of sex. And if homosexuality is so very unnatural, your going to have a hell of a tim

Religiously speaking, I would not consider myself a Christian, but I value and respect many of the teachings of Jesus Christ. One of those teachings just so happens to be 'Judge not least you be judged'. This goes right along with 'love thy neighbor as thy loves themself'. I fully understand that the bible states out right the homosexuality is an abonimation, just like it says eating shellfish is an abonimation. The bible is probably the most quoted and important work of literature ever, but it is still open to interpretation. People tend to take the bible extremely literally without reading it in a literal sense. The bible was written in a culture completely different then ours and while many of it's figurative messages still stand strong, the exact meanings no longer have important or reasonable value in our modern world .

I don't think homosexuality is wrong at all.
1) Love doesn't have a gender. Love isn't male and female. Love is love.
2) Why should people care if a male loves another male, or a female loves another female? It's no one's business what two people do in the bedroom.
3) I think that as long as two people love each other, gender (or race, age, color, etc.) shouldn't matter.

Homosexuality occours naturally. There is nothing wrong with it and actually it HELPS with an overpopulated world as far as that couple not reproducing. But somehow lots of people think it's okay to be prejudiced against this group of individuals even though it's every bit as bad as racism. Sometimes I see just how primitive we still are. People will look back at this time and see how we abort babies, hate gays, and the way animals are treated and think of us like we think of the people in the dark ages.

I believe people should worry more about there own lives and less about everyone elses. I wouldnt live that lifestyle personally. I think everyone should have a chance at happiness. If they are happy secure let them be. Let them get married. As for the religious aspect if you go that way well as the bible says you shouldnt judge so I dont. There are bigger issues in this world to be concerned with.

No I do not think it is wrong any more than I think being left-handed is wrong. It's just the way some people are. And studies show that those who express outright hate for homosexuals are in reality experiencing homosexual tendencies themselves.
I agree with equal rights for everybody as well.
Blessed Be.

Homosexuality is certainly not wrong. If two gays want to marry, let them. As long as they are happy....
And, if someone has a problem, that's their problem and the gays aren't going to change for that one ignorant person.

I totally agree with you. I don't believe it's wrong or a choice. We don't choose our sexuality, just like we don't choose the colour of our hair or eyes. Everybody deserves love and happiness in their life.

It is totally not wrong. I think loving the same sex is splendid.
It should not be a sin or illegal or anything.
