Yeah that thing about the college town. Not true. I live in a "college town".

In general, when we think of liberal we think of the Democratic party. In the southern U.S. Democrats reign supreme....so, many towns would fit the bill.

Nearly any college town will do. The reason is that all of the college Professors of those minor degree plans are flaming liberals--always with their hand out for government money and not really earning any of it!.
Also, Trial lawyers who are nearly all socialistic liberals tend to hang out around college towns.
Both of these elements of society are really "parasites on the productive".
