If your boat is ten metres or more and you are fairly experienced you should be fine but you do need to check the forecast before you leave. The wind will probably be a Westerly of force five or six. Low tide is 0739 at Dover so you need to get away before daylight to work the tide.

how big is your yaght over 250 foot
got ship to shore radio back up 200 hp
twin gardner twin diesle turbo engines
also nav star if so go for it
p.s when you get aboard ask the coast gaurd
on your raidio not us
