How do you make eyes appear larger and farther apart?

I have very small eyes that are close together -- Please tell me how to apply makeup to make them look larger and farther apart. Thanks!

Stay away from the smokey eye look, try bight colors and try even soft pale colors. dont use a black liner. I would need to know ur eye color and skin tone to tell you exactly which colors to use. However when u line your eyes, line across the top of your lashes from corner to corner and under your eye only half way (outer end) and smudge it. use a lengthening mascara and definately use a lash curler to open the eyes. This would deffinately work.

In addition to the other comments (although I think the eyebrow-waxing one was a little extreme and could cause more trouble than it's worth), I would suggest applying a light, shimmery color in the inner corner of your eye. You could use eyeshadow or a highlighting product such as benefit eyebright stick or a brightening pen (lots of brands make them from Mary Kay to Dior and probably even some drugstore brands).

Get your eyebrows waxed/plucked farther apart to make your eyes seem farther apart. The one bad side to this is your nose can look lots bigger though.

okay. i do this everyday when applying make up..and trust me it does make ur eyes seem wider. you get eyeliner and apply it to the outer corners of your eyes. dont putit on the inner rims of ur eyes. do it to the top too. haha i hope you understood that!!

to make them look larger, don't apply eyeliner, or apply very little. wear mascara that makes your lashes look extra long.
