To what degree are Republicans a 'white wing' party? And why?

"Black Members. A record number (43) of black Members are serving, 42 in the House, one in the Senate. All are Democrats, including two Delegates. Fourteen black women serve in the House, including the two Delegates. Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) is the first male, black Democrat to serve in the Senate.

Hispanic Members. The 29 Hispanic Members of the 109th Congress are the largest number ever to have served in a single Congress.12 Twenty-six serve in the House and two in the Senate. Of the Members of the House, 21 are Democrats, six are Republicans (including the Resident Commissioner), and seven are women. Both Hispanic Senators are men, one Republican and one Democrat."

Good question. I think is based on the belief that black and Hispanic individuals feel more connected to the ideas of the Democrats, regarding opportunities.

If these "statistics" are supposed to infer that Republicans are racist, I would argue that that is not only slander but a straw man argument. In fact, under the Bush administration, more minorities were appointed than under any other administration. Its plain and simple that the Democrats supporting the victimization of minorities has lead to their wider minority voting bloc, but honestly, more and more are jumping from the Democrat race bait machine into the Republican party of individual responsibility where they have a chance to succeed on their own merits, not just because a Democrat gave them a handout...

A record six candidates for Governorships under the Republican party in 2006 were Black... all were defeated. There is no way to say one party is more racist than the other, the party doesn't control the voters.

in case you examine out the state of Mississippi by way of vote casting districts and how they voted in 2012 and then overlay that with racial demographic you will locate that the very undesirable areas of the state with large black populations (the Mississippi Delta specially) tend to vote left whilst wealthier areas tend to vote staggering. Jackson and the Gulf Coast are very Conservative and that they are in general black besides. contained in the top race isn't a component, purely the undesirable and poorly knowledgeable human beings vote for democrats whilst those with funds that have brains and prefer to maintain their funds vote staggering. in basic terms an assertion.

To run as a Republican you have to be one.

For a long time the races you mentioned were mostly supporters of Democrats.

Recently these has been shifting in both groups and more are joining the Republicans you can see it in the Bush administration. I believe we will have more soon.

For some one who has raised the race flag so many times you seem to have no problems separating blacks whites and hispanics.
