What's your opinion of them on females? I'm refering to the lip piercing that are on the side of the lips, not the centered ones.
Do you think that certain style's(like how people dress) look better with them then others?

I personally like them. I have had my lip pierced 3 times. First on the side, them 2 seperate times in the middle. Don't let anyone tell you that they're ugly or unappealing. It is all personal preference. I think that it only looks right on certain styles though. In disagreement with someone above me, i dont think it looks right on "preppy" people. thats probably the only style i dont like it with. One thing I will tell you that is important though is if you are planning on getting it, be careful because it can cause recession of your gums in your mouth, which can lead to expensive problems. Choose whatever you decide. If you like it, go for it. The good thing is it hardly leaves a scar... just a little dot that you can't even see unless you're up close and looking.. its not as permanent as a tattoo.

I do think certain styles look make the piercings look better than, say, the 'preppy' style. In general though, they aren't overly attractive & tend to distract (at least to me) from the face. Even the small studs seem out of place.
Anyway, I hope you are happy with whatever decision you come too.

I had my lip pierced on loved it. I enjoyed dressing up in formal dresses and going to nice restaurants with my piercing because it was such a contrast. I think it also helped with the misconception that anyone with piercings is punk or goth and I'm neither.
