Ipod question.?

Why, when my son charges his Ipod on the computer, does it erase his music? It's 30GB w/ video. Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It shouldn't unless the ipod is not property working right

Is he charging the iPod on the same computer he uses to put the music on it? If the music is not on the computer hes using to charge the iPod, it will delete the songs off the iPod.

there should not be problem, either usb or wall all can for charge battery now, and it wouldnt be appreciated
