Well folks, it's sunday and yes I will be enjoying the games once again. My wife already cleaned the entire house yesterday, and made some good lunch and snacks for me to enjoy the game today. I really don't feel guilty even cause she enjoys doing this stuff, why I don't know, but I think she just likes to keep busy so she'll cook and clean all damn day. Hey if this makes her happy so be it.
Do most of you ladies treat your guy as well as this, or do you throw dishes at him if he's just chilling out?

I guess I must be more co-ordinated than you are as
I help my wife clean the house , watch a movie , and
make her happy all at the same time.

Yes you are still a good guy but you should try to help out more around the house if at all possible just because you love her and want to help and encourage her. If you did housework before marrying her you should do it now if you know what i mean. It will make it a little easier on her and have her happier and more willing and able to spend more time with you in and out of the bedroom... Give the two of you more quality time together if you know what i mean:) My husband and i do things together around the house and we love it! At the same time if he is tired and wants to rest i will let him do so and he lets me do the same when i am tired too and we do not demand or yell at each other about it.... This is how marriage should be. A united front working together on everything. If your marriage is working great that way then by all means keep doing it.

Sounds like you have a great wife.....I try to be like that for my husband, but I admit, I fall short.

I don't work outside the home, so I feel that the housework is my "job"...

Are you a good guy? I can't say....I will say that my husband is wonderful.....when he sees that I'm exhausted (we had a baby 5 weeks ago)...he says "go rest babe, i'll ....(fill in the blank)."

It's great that you get the opportunity to watch your games, or do whatever.....but wouldn't it be nice to show her how much you appreciate that you're treated so well?

If I were you.....I'd surprise her with a bathtub full of rose petals, candles lit, and tell her she's got the night off.....or if she's not the "bathtub" type....find some other thoughtful way of expressing your thanks...

Note: Thoughtful ways are more meaningful (i think) than $$ ways. Anyone can buy a dozen roses....being creative, and "thoughtful" means way more.

If she enjoys doing it...great. But you need to be sure that you are showing your appreciation for everything she does. There may come a day when she decides that she had done too much for you. You should at least offer to help if she will let you. My man does zero housework and I don't like the fact that he won't help me. WIth 4 kids and him there gets to be some pretty big messes. I try to do the housework but with working full time also it is a hassle for me. I like to relax when I am home, maybe I should just hire a maid...lol.

I'm with you on this. My partner is a busy Doctor and works six days a week, has a private practise and gives me everything I want, so when he comes home, I want him to relax. Today he is off to see the game with his son and I am doing a lot of cleaning, laundry and organizing. I do not like to bug him about house work. He works very hard and should have peace when he comes home to me! enjoy the game, hope your team wins!

When my husband is out busting his but he has nothing at home to do but chopp the wood. The kids and i stack it. I would chop it to but he says i will cut off a leg or something and does not want a one legged wife. Ha Ha, when he gets lad off i stop all the extras and do onlyl the basic house work and he bithes but i say if it is dirty then he can clean it too he is home 24/7 and can do it to.
I have a motto that says No one knows what i do til i do not do it.
