I agree with Eva , the answer is -16

Step1: Let's get rid of the expodentials since they are small
8-4(2(-1)+4(6-4))

Step2: Let's follow order of operation and get rid of the parantheses
8-4(-2+8)

Step3: -4 X 6 = -24

Step4: 8-24= -16

remember BEDMAS (Brackets, exponents, division, multiplication, addition, and subtraction)

first look at the brackets and simplify what you can

2^3 - 2^2 [2*(3-4) + 4(6-4)]

2^3 - 2^2[2*-1 + 4*2]

2^3 - 2^2[-2+8]

2^3 - 2^2[6]

8 -4[6]

multiplication

8-24

subtraction

you do the perenthases first 2^3-2^2(2(3-2^2)+2^2(2*3-2^2)) is the same as 2^3-2^2(2(-1)+2^2(2)) . then u do perenthases again so... 8-2^2((-2)+4(2))...8-2^2(-2+8)..so it is..8-2^2(6).....8-4(6).....
8-24... so it is -16

=8-4(2(3-4)+4(8-4)= 8-4(-2+4x4) =8 - 4(-2 +16)=8-4(14)=
=8-56=-48
