Don't know...but have you tried a paste made of baking soda, salt, and water? That can clean most things...

A thick paste made up of table salt and water may work.
Scrub the brass with the paste then rinse it off. Make sure that you rinse all the salt off.
A word of caution, do not use any abrasive cleaner if the brass has a lacquer finish as that will destroy the finish.

Ketchup will clean brass up nicely. The acidity of the ketchup gets rid of the tarnish.

Salt! Add just a squirt of moisture, sprinkle with salt and rub with a soft cloth. I'm not sure but you might try tomato sauce. I believe the acid will do it also.

try using lemon juice and baking soda. if you need more scrubbing power, use salt instead of baking soda.
