Check your phone's docs. Most phones have a menu option to hide your number for the next call or for all calls. However, whether or not this will work depends upon your carrier. Some carriers do not allow you to block your # at any time and some carriers require you to sign up for an option that blocks your number either globally or at your request through the phone's menu options.

In all cases, the number and call details are recorded on the carrier's equipment. This information can be made available to law enforcement in response to a subpoena or court order.
