I've got an iMac running Mac OS X 10.4.8. I never, ever use the classic (system 9) version of the os, and I want to either get rid of, or combine my OS X and system 9 system folders. I noticed that all my fonts are in the system 9 folder, but they are available to me in OS X.

What can I delete? How can I figure out what's needed and what's not, or should I just leave well enough alone?

thanks!

1. LEAVE IT ALONE!
2. copy any missing fonts(though most should be there) out and put them in the os x font's folder. there are two different font folders on osx. one for all users and one for just you... put them in your personal folder!

the reason you leave it alone is that it is small and you may some day need to install some program that needs 'classic' os 9.
