okay. i have to do a science project, and i was wondering, what are some examples of reverse faults? as in food wise? what could represent a reverse fault with food? same as compression. what would be some examples with food representing compression? thanks.

Use a thin layer cake. Bake two and put icing on one, and stack the other on top. Now, cut it lengthwise so you have two pieces of cake with a layer of icing in the middle.

You can use one of the pieces to cut and form into a reverse fault and use the other to create a fold or series of folds created by compression.

I am assuming you can visualize how to make these faults and folds.
