they make a time release sleeping pill now ....you could ask your doctor. Sometimes if you sleep too much during the day, you will have trouble with sleeping at night. If you get plenty of exercise during the day that should help also.

Weight loss plan and endeavor are excellent places to begin. That you would be able to also take a dietary supplement referred to as L-tryptophan as an over-the-counter sleep support. Watch out to not take it for lengthy intervals, though. L-tryptophan is a chemical that's determined naturally in turkey which seems to aid humans go to sleep. From experience, some of the pleasant ways to treat insomnia is to take a look at to figure out WHY you've gotten it. It might be that you are going via a chemical alternate. It would be that you are confused about something. If you are harassed, attempt to confront the stressor and work by means of it. If the insomnia is prompted via changes on your body, you might want to consider going to the doctor. Insomnia might be an indication of a thyroid situation or another effectively treatable health problem. Excellent good fortune getting the sleep you want.

Valerian works great, it helps you fall asleep with ease and keeps you asleep through the night. I've tried many sedative herbs and Valerian works the best, second best is Ginseng which increases your quality of sleep so that you feel well rested when you wake up. Combining Ginseng and Valerian works amazingly well for treating insomnia.

this is what a doctor told me; go to bed at the same time; ie 11pm and if you can't sleep read until you get sleepy. then wake up each day at the same time; this is very important. don't nap at all during the day. this is the natural way to help you get into a healthy sleep pattern, but it is easier said than done if you ask me.
if you don't mind adding excercise during the week, it can help make you tired, as long as you do it during the day and not at night.
good luck.

my dad suffers from that. He gets about 3 hours of sleep, after going to bed at around ONE IN THE MORNING. He wakes up after that, snacks and goes on the computer for about half an hour, and then goes back to sleep for another 3 hours. He's been doing it since I can remember, and he doesn't seem tired during the day. Only one cup of coffee after he's gone to work, too.

I'm going to be the weird one and say try exercising before you stuff yourself full of pills. I'm a yoga instructor and had a history of sleep and depression problems and the yoga REALLY helped me. My boss suffered from migraines and insomnia - the yoga helped ease both.
Good Luck

Aboslutely. Try valeriana pills. It is a natural herb who will help you to sleep without any side effects. Also try to take a little bit of melatonine if the insomania is severe only. it is a natural hormone who will help you to sleep.
