What are the qualities that you have set (standards)Like thoughful,Kind and caring,Generous.Personally, I would have to say that generous of ones self would top my list.Over the years friends come and go but the ones who stay no matter what or how good-bad things get are the ones that are keepers.And you are the one who really has to look inside you to say,Hey this ia a person I would love to keep as a friend forever.

My best friend and I have been friends since she introduced herself to me in the 6th grade. We are still the best of friends to this day...we're both 35. We've gone months and years without talking to each other. But when we pick up the phone to call each other it's like we've spoken everyday. That's a true friend. I've gone through many 'friends' throughout my life..including college and living in many different places. She is still the one constant friend I've had. Having a friend for 20+ years says a lot.

Some one who is always there for you no matter what even 4 o clock in the morning when your drunk and had an argument with your boyf,someone who no's you inside out and you no them inside your 110% honest with each other even if the truth will hurt.they make you laugh even when you dont feel like laughing,some one who can act as crazy as you and not care what people think.above all someone you trust with your life(ive just described my best mate).xx

Loyal, honest, good fun etc... The list of good quality’s can go on and on. But really, your best friend needs to be someone who you get along with really well despite there bad points.

particular I even have one. I even have known her for variety of 30 years.We met as quickly as we've been young babies and have caught it out by all of it. i could say that's a sturdy chum. yet she's the only actual one. I even have others who're merely human beings i understand. in case you already know what I mean.

LOYALTY! HONESTY! Those are my big ones because I hate liars and betrayal. Also (if I wanted to be picky) someone who's understanding, who listens (but still talks), and who doesn't take themselves too seriously, but still has some sort of goal in their life/determined.

loyal. thta is th emain quality for me since many people arent. my second choice would be able to forgive me when im not , b/c i know im gonna make mistakes and i dont need someone who would hold it over my head, for everyone this question is gonna be diffrent b/c everyone has things that they want or need
