Dude - America has already take over the world through the likes of our multination corporations. War is just bad in general for business.

That's whats going to happen,The U.S. and Europe will eventually take over the world. New World Order is what its called or the last days for you Christians. Its already started really because the countries that are against them will be destroyed and taken over and other countries will just fall in line because of the U.S. and Europe's great influences politically and economically.

This is one of the reasons why your government absolutely despises the UN and the EU. They really hate that not everyone agrees with you.
Btw, you don't actually have the power -- look at the mess you're making in Iraq and Afghanistan and how thin your troops are stretched. And you certainly don't have the money -- $8.6 tril in debt, financed by cash reserves for oil. You are sunk when the rest of the world switches to a euro-based oil exchange.

no we actually have a 3 trillion dollar tax deficit. In fact, we are one of the most hated countries in the world. The only empires that came close to taking over the world were the Abbasid and the Mongols, and Greece and Persia were huge too. But we do have a huge fear of terrorist, 9/11. We are scared out of our pants, so much that we are putting in jail and killing (legally and illegally) hundreds of innocent people we call 'terrorist'. Sure we are a super power but its more complicated then that.

You can't really think that's possible...It's not the countries that are the problem, it's people beliefs. people just don't get along, how many nasty responces did you get from this question.. Did you know there will be people out there who would kill you just for thinking like that... go out find someone who does not like you for what ever reason, Now try to force that person to like you with money and power, not gunna happen. they may spend the money you give but there not going to like you when the money runs out...

couldn't happen as the world stands today, if the US tried, alliances would quickly form, it would mean a land battle over the whole of Europe & Asia. fighting almost street by street. the US army would be stretched so thin , that they would be unable to maintain order on US soil, nor would they be able to protect US borders against counter invaision if all the armies were engaged abroad.
