I am over 50 have had almost 50 relationships (jk) and I have to say "NO". I am either the spoiled or the spoiler, and get tired of both after awhile. If u start out a relationship as either, then it tends to stay that way.

Of course you can have 50/50 for a while. But what happens after you've been with the parson for a while and each person has done stupid things and hurt the other as will always happen?

My point is that unless both people are 100% committed to the other, and unless both people know how to forgive from the heart, 50/50 won't last.

the perfect relationship should be 50/50... both give to the whole ... split it down the middle .Sharing everything. Perhaps that is why persons dont stay married very long any more.

Well, it's supposed to be. I told an ex-girlfriend how I like our 50/50 relationship. I give and you take. That's why she's an ex.

I think it should be 100/100, but I know what you mean. It should be that both people are giving everything they have to a relationship, and I really do think it's possible, just difficult at times.

yes, all it means is that each partner is doing 50 percent of the work to keep it together. A relationship doesnt work very good if its onle 25/75.. know what i mean? you both have to work hard at it!

not really... well it can be close, but usually the girls wait for the guys to call and stuff... but that's kind of the guys fault, cause if girls show too much effort they call them "clingy" so it's kind of hard... i mean i bet if i called my boyfriend every day, like i want to; he would think I'm trying too hard. so yeah, there isn't really a 50/50 relationship. usually its like 60/40

I don't think so I do a lot more than my hubby. About all he does is go to work and every once in a while if something needs fixed after I have gripped about it for a long time he will fix it
