Depends on how you want the child to feel when growing up. Out of the ordinary and wierd spelling can cause teasing or difficulty in school. Long story short Alyson, Allyson, Allison, Allisen, Allisten, Allisun, Alisun, Ollison, Ollisun, Allisin, Allysin...Ok I was just playing I would spell it Allison or Allyson

As a teacher, I advocate conventional spellings. Please consider Alison. It's much easier for the child, and her name will still be unique because there's no one else in your life named Alison.
