If you had to choose would you be deaf or blind.. I know it a tough one. But 10 Points up for Grabs.. Explain why?

Oh, deaf for sure. You need your eyes much more than you need your ears. If I were deaf I could still read, watch tv, go on the computer, do my crafts and hundreds of other things that would be difficult or impossible without your eyesight.

because imagine if you had no idea what a tree looked like or what clothes you are wearing or what the color blue looks like. I think it would be better to not hear things instead of not seeing b/c if you Can't hear then you can always have people write down stuff.

Living in a world of darkness would really suck. You can do nothing (practically) on your own. But deaf people function rather well these days, considering.

I already tune most people out anyhow, so being deaf wouldn't be much different! LOL Losing my eyesight would probably devastate me. My mom lost her sight to macular degeneration, and was totally blind before she died. I don't know if I could handle that...she was much braver than me!

deaf harder to work around than being blind. Blind cannot see to get around. Deaf just need to use other perceptions.

I would rather be deaf. I need my eyesight for everything, but I could easily tune people and sounds out and be content for the most part.

wow! tough question. i can't imagine not being able to hear my sons laugh. or to see him learn new things. i think though it would be a lot harder to adapt to a world i couldn't see. so i guess i'd have to say i'd rather be deaf. (knock on wood it never happens)

If I had to choose....it would be Deaf....there's so much beauty around to see.....but thank goodness I don't have to choose.

If i had to be either one i would be blind, because i could not live without hearing music. A silent world would be worse than death for me.
