Also, make sure you're pressing the iron on the transfer and fabric on a *hard* surface... if you're cushioning the fabric-and-transfer, it won't work as well. This is especially true if your fabric is kind of thick like sweatshirt. Also, you really need to press hard, and hold the iron in spots long enough for the heat to reach a critical temperature, not just "ironing" all around.

Other things that can make a difference are the condition of the receiving fabric. If hasn't been washed, there could still be sizing, etc., in it which would act as a resist. If it has been washed but a fabric softener of some kind has been used, that can also act as a resist.

Is you iron HOT enough... I know I had one not transfer well but it was due to my heat.

I was worried about burning the actual material and had to over come that fear. I now use a piece of material between the shirt and iron and try to direct the heat to the transfer mostly.

I have noticed colors do not work as well as the black so now I simply make my transfers in black only.

I have used numerous brands of transfer sheets as well all with the same results.

: )

Happy Ironing !

I've have had a few problems myself. One, use the right fabric. Certain blends will not work. Two, let the transfer cool before taking the backing off. I always get a clean transfer if I don't rush to pull it off right a way.

I used them for work to make t-shirts with small logos. they worked quite well but I followed the directions to the T..even counting to 30 when I was ironing them on.

Good luck!
