There are only five or so episodes left, I'm just curious if anyone knows why.

The OC has severely declined in quality after Marissa was killed off. The acting is low quality (namely the character Taylor Townshend), the background music has changed from indie bands to cheesy elevator msuic. The show is just awful from what it used to be. They shouldn't have killed off marissa. That was the hugest mistake.

Viewers have declined. They jumped the shark. Prematurely killing off Marissa. So this is the reason for dropping the show. Less people watching.

The Ratings are low and they are losing viewers except viewers for Rachel Bilson.. She's hot

ratings are the only reason this happens, if it was an actor quiting they'd just replace 'em and keep rolling...good luck
