Yes, As long as I have the weapon... hehe.. No really it's a good Idea, It is not legal for criminals to carry them, so you bet if good citizens carry them it keeps the crime doers in check. Would you steal a lady's purse if you thought you might get shot by an onlooker? I think not. Would you Jack a car if you thought the person in it was packing a weapon... No.. It makes for a safer place. You are thinking that everyone has a gun if it's legal, that's not the case.. it's legal if you register it, If you have a registered gun you are not gunna go shooting people for sport. they can find the bullet and know what gun it came from... this is not the old days.. YES YES YES is the answer!!!!

Out law guns and the only ones to have them is the criminals. Does this sound fair? If you go into a store to rob the store and you do not know who has a weapon or for say gun then you are les likely to rob the store, house or people in any place. A friend was walk out of a tore with the wife up the asile to the car. Two men were coming down the asile so they crossd sides and so did the two men. So they crossed the asile agian and so did the men. When they noticed the hand come from his pocket they proceedd to hed another direction. The point of my pistol is to prevent the crime from happening. If you are not causing trouble then you have nothing to worry about. There are places where you can not carry and feel insecure about those that may have something when you do not. But in places where it is ok to carry I feel better with or without any. The hope is to never need it.

I wouldn't feel secure because if anyone could be carrying a weapon I wouldn't even get out of my house it would be a nightmare there are a lot of bad people out there so they will shoot anyone that passes them by. But in the USA you need a license for that and permission by the government so I feel secure in America and where I live. Confusing I know=]

I'm from the U.S. and I don't feel safe in a country that lets anyone have a gun. We have more crime than any developed country, have a terrible record of keeping criminals and the violently mentally ill off the streets. Anyone can buy a gun. That's insane and paranoid.

Our country is run by the mentally ill criminal type. VERY SCAREY and yet bearable...you get used to insanity if you live here long enough!

Poor naive Klaudia...you don't have to have a license in the U.S. the Government doesn't check to see if you have one until after a crime has been committed. Our government isn't interested in prevention, its only interested in punishment.

I would prefer that no one carried weapons. But it's no big deal really. It's like cars going by. Any one could swerve and kill you. People in America don't wave their guns around or shoot them in public - it is a very big deal if you do. But also, if some bad guys start shooting up a public place, it is nice that the person next to you may be armed and stop it from continuing on.

We bare arms in U.S, and yes i feel safe. To get a CCW you have to go through a background ck, cant have a felony, and you can only pull your weapon out if somebody is threatening your life with another weapon, if you do otherwise you can be convicted of a felony and face jail time.

JUST me shut the $#^$ up! at the age of 18 you can own a long gun and at the age of 21 you can own a handgun you DONT need a permit to carry just to own a gun you just need that permit to carry a concealed handgun in most states. anways. a knife would be ok but honestly would it help you any? pepper spray would be your best bet because u can blind the maniac and run away and get help. a knife i think will just make things worse (unless your trained in knife skills and hand to hand combat) and an airhorn will just anoy the hell out of an attacker lol

As a citizen I would feel more secure. Don't know how criminals feel knowing their prey might be armed. Wouldn't it be nice if they always had that doubt in their mind? Since they are
stabbing and shooting today even if we give them money?
Rotten Motherf.....!
Sorry, my human half came out.

No. The violent crime rate in countries where guns are illegal is so much smaller.
