I know there are some third parties that sell extended warranties but the prices vary according to where the product was manufactured.
Just search on google or yahoo for third party extended warranty.

Sony Europe has already shut down numerous sites who had the temerity to sell PSP's in the UK at near Hong Koing prices. Apparetnyl they broke Sony's exclusive dealership system and worst of all the EU backed up Sony Europe. Its the same nbox, just that Sony were hacked off that someone undercut their rip off pricing in Europe... Yet another exfcellent reason to saty int he EU in my books... as if

If you are in the U.K. and you buy a PS3 direct from Hong Kong, it will not have ANY warranty whatsoever, no matter which website you get it from.

well ummm im not sure about the hong kong one but you can get great deals on ebay but amazon is WAY over priced for there ps3s
