A townhouse is usually separate/on its own property with its own entrance from an outside space.
A condo is more like an apartment complex where it might share a common wall and/or sits on joint property and the the entrance might be from a shared hallway or inside space.
Based on that, I'd say townhouse!

Condo.Townhouses seem to turn over more often and you kind
of want to know who your neighbors are.Your Condo Boards are
elected by the owners so you have an input to the rules and regulations.

particular, the fees selection with the section and sources value. regularly you pay city and county taxes. in case you're outdoors the city limits, purely county taxes. whilst finding out to purchase for a townhouse or condominium, additionally verify out the home proprietor dues. some could be outrageous, and a few can expand outrageously.

Depends on your lifestyle and what townhomes vs condos offer in your area.
Get a good realtor, and shop...shop...shop.
Check the resale value, and mait. history, vacancy, and owner to renters ratios
When you narrow it down, ask to see the sold units information, in that development, within the past 6 mo.
You can research yourself on local town, tax, and assessor sites.
Good luck
