My long-distance boyfriend of 3 years told me last night that he's fed up to come home always to an empty flat alone and that he was wishing I was there. I thought it's sweet and told him that I miss him too, that it'd be nice if we could organise a meeting. We see each other about once a month. This morning he sent me a text that he didn't say it to be sweet and that he's fed up of having a girlfriend who's far and that it's been too long like this and he doesnt want to continue like this. I told him that I understand him but what does he want to do? He said we really need to think about it and he said not to expect always a solution from him, I also need to do something. He was looking for a job near me but could not find one. I started to be scared and asked him if he wants to end it. He got upset and told me that I always take everything as a threat instead of trying to find a solution with him and that he doesn't like that. He said to stop worry like that. We'll talk tonight.

Ow, I know that pain-in-the-a.s.s feeling & anxiety.

The biggest problem about communication is we just talk too much with our ONE mouth, when we have should listen more with our TWO ears.

He loves you, he does. Don't doubt him. Listen to what he's saying! He wants a realistic suggestion from you on how to be closer with you. And nope, the meeting-up-once-in-a-month won't work. Men refused to admit, but secretly they want to come home to see their girl sleeping on the sofa after waiting for them for hours.

Don't lose this guy, he's sweet, maybe you're just too tensed about losing him.

Long distance relationships end if you can't compromise. Since he can't find a suitable job near you, you have two choices to keep this relationship alive: (1) You find a job near him, (2) you each find a job somewhere else in the SAME area. That is what you need to talk about. If you love each other, you will compromise. If you don't love each other enough, this relationship is now over.

so talk tonight and find out
have you thought of trying to find a job near him? does he have to be the one to move? have you thought of going to a different place together and trying to find a job to make it together?
Brainstorm with him to find a solution to the problem and don't concentrate on everything being negative.

be cool and gl
