Construction of the Berlin Wall started in c1961/1962 and was probably completed by 1963.

Started in 61 I believe, but added to and updated into the 70's

it was sunday 13th august 1961 At 1.05 When they started with barbed wire fences.
Amazingly at 2.00am an s bahn train was turned back to the soviet zone ans the passengers had their fares refunded.
