Until there is a National Health Insurance available for all
Americans people will continue to die from undetected illnesses.
Yearly physicals have saved many lives. For people like me with
health concerns these check-ups will continue to help me live
longer. Since I want to live long enough to see my child grow up, get married and perhaps hold a grand child or two, living long is important to me.

Yes, it's important, when you get to be a certain age... and I don't know how many or what % of Americans have one, but I do!

I don't think it is important for a physical EVERY year. You doctor does. It keeps that paycheck coming in. I would say to use common sense: keep blood pressure checked, test for blood sugar, especially if it runs in your family. Be aware of symptoms for common disorders.

there are so many diseases out there that you would have no idea that you had or that you could get, without a physical. I got three new shots in my physical last year because I didn't go for the past three years. You get checked for scoliosis too.
