I don't know who Deepak Chopra was or what they said but if marriage is a power struggle there is one person or two in the relationship who are trying to control the relationship. People have got to give a little to get a little, ya know. Compramise.

I don't know what you are talking about with the Deepak Chopra thing, but in my marriage, my husband and I are a team. We have never fought for power. I think that is the whole point of marriage, to work together.

Great book by the way! I like Deepak's many books.
Regarding the power struggle.. we don't have that problem.
My wife lays down the law and that's it. lol. Kidding.
The type of issue your concerned about diminishes as you get older. Lot's of things that were important in our youth lose their priority as we age.. . including "power struggle issues".. I've never really had that problem in our marriage. Good luck!

Absolutely NOT.Marriage has nothing to do with power.Marriage is about teamwork and equal treatment. If you are looking for a power struggle then you need to be in a wrestling ring and not a marriage.

Any relationship between men and women is a power struggle in one form or another.
