It could be dead skin or something else.I would go to your doctor first cuz it sounds bad but a lot do get whats called a fungus n it does the same thing as well it could be a skin problem n if not then the doctor can tell u what is best to help but I would go to a doctor first cuz there a products that r covered and u wouldn't have to pay as long as it's prescribed by the doctor n some people go n pay.I'm not sure on the names of the creams but a pharmacists would no.Sorry I couldn't give any names but I hope it helped with what I said.Good luck n hope it gets better.Bye 4 now

At first, I thought you may have been African American with dark pigment on your knees, elbows which is normal. You may be experimenting a skin condition. Check with your skin doctor.

Get checked for diabetes. It could be caused by your body's improper use of insulin. Had the same thing around my neck. If you are overweight, lose enough weight it should go away.

Try rubing a piece of lemon on it and leave it on for a while, also try using some sort of skin lightening cream or bleach.
