It gets as hot as the water temperature set by the thermostat. Typically 180 to 200 degrees F.
Water is inside the radiator, and water/antifreeze can't get much hotter than 220F or it will boil.

You can get a nasty burn from the coolant, and the radiator gets pretty hot. Don't touch the radiator when it is hot!
