what gps is best for ploting points around yard?

I have a Tomtom One gps. can i walk around my yard and put "POI" (points of intrest) into my Tomtom One and get a digital picture of my yar? Witch gps unit would do what i want?... Is better for that...?

There are better units than the tom tom for plotting points like you're describing. Tom tom is really oriented towards driving. Any number of the handheld units that outdoors-men use should work fine for that (look at Cabelas.com, or any outdoor type place). Whichever you choose, however, make sure that it utilizes the WAAS correction in its calculations; your results will be far more accurate.
