For 2 years I studied translation proficiency at kazakh-American University in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Now I am studying at Davis&Elkins College in Elkins, WV - my major is education. But this year is my last one at this college. I want to transfer to another college in NYC, NY. Is that possible to transfer, beeing a translation proficiency student for 2 years, than an education student. I wish to continue the education major. I mean, 2 years at my country + the year at D&E College- so to transfer to the last year at the College with education major. So, this is it.

Brooklyn or Queens Colleges in NYC CUNY school system have good educational programs. I'm sure you are going to have to take the required courses to fulfill the credits for an education degree. Usually, you need 36 education credits. Yet best to call up and ask.

You should call the school in NY you plan to attend and ask if you can transfer. Some schools let you some don't.
