Are all the geese suffering from some sort of dementia or have they found a wild patch of cannibis somewhere?

I'm sure they stopped somewhere along the way and found some there. If they keep it up, maybe it is dementia.

it's more likely that there are some fermented berries or other fruit nearby. there's enough alcohol in over-ripe apples, for example, to get a birds drunk,and apples in any state of decay are a favorite of geese.

If you have large windows, all kinds of birds will fly into them. If you put something in the window, like a picture of a bird, they won't fly into it.
