under root of y = 7
y = 7^2
y = 49

under root x + y = 11
under root x = 11 - y
x = (11 - y)^2
x = (11 - 49)^2
x = (-38)^2
x = 1444

The square root of the underroot of x + y = 11
Multiplied with the underroot of y = 7 boiled in arrowroot
or x+y = 7/11; where x is milk and y is sugar;
solution is get coffee from 7/11 with milk and sugar.

x+y=11^2=121
y=[7-x]^2
x+[7-x]^2=121
x+49+x^2-14x=121
x^2-13x-72=0
x=13/2+under root of -119/2 ,13/2-under root of -119/2
y=229/2+ under root of -119/2, 229/2-under root of -119/2

consider first equation and square it on both sides then we get the equation
x+y=121 that means y=121-x consider it as equation (3)

now consider second equation
x+under root of y=7
=>under root of y=7-x
now squaring on both sides we get
y=49+x^2-14x

now substitute third equation in the above equation, that is the value of y

we get
49+x^2-14x=121-x
=>x^2-13x-72=0

by solving using roots for quadratic equation we get two values of x they are

x=(+)17.1887 and x= (-)4.1887and substituting the values of x we get y values as
y=(+)103.8113 and y=(+)125.1887

so we get two solutions they are
x=(+)17.1887 y=(+)103.8113
or
x= (-)4.1887 y=(+)125.18

You probably have got your answer from all responses here. I agree with ALPEINLIBE's response the most! Here's something I have got for BRILLIANT students only. Find value of x in sqrt(3x+19)-sqrt(5x-1) = 2. I suppose you are one of those who do their homework on their OWN and like challenges. SO DO SOLVE IT. You obviously know why I haven't given the answer!
