hello,first you need broadband.connect an ethernet cable to your modem and xbox .create a gamer profile and you should be live but on a silver account,using that you need to pay a years subscription to microsoft by credit card or a pre paid card that you scratch the number off.then you will be a gold member,and can play online.i hope this helps.
