Aww name that baby something you can agree on, marriage is all about compromise right? If you both lke Brynley, I think you should go with that. Ava is very pretty and I believe is ranked number 3 for the most popular names of 2006, of course, so is Ethan, my sons name. Anyway, I would go with the name you agreed on. Brinley? Brenlie? Brenley?
Good Luck!

Not too keen on the name Brynley, as someone said above, it sounds like a last name as opposed to a first name as you want. Ava is adorable, it however popular sadly. I want to name my daughter Ava Pearl, but I'm also stuck with the fact that I am not crazy about the idea of Ava being popular. I don't want her being in a class with 10 other Ava's lol. You're certain not to have other Brynley's though, I've never heard of it before! You could compromise with your husband, go for something completely different, but Miss is coming out soon, and she'll need a name! ;)
Good luck! :)

I think Brynley is really cute. Ava Grace was my first choice for our daughters name, but my husband just didnt like it at all. So I finally gave it up and we found something we both agreed on. Ask him about Ava Brynley or Brynley Ava. That is cute
Brinley
Brynnlee
Brynlee
Brinlee
Brynleigh
But I think Brynley or Brinley is the best.

Ava is an older name coming back into style.. like someone else mentioned its 3rd on the chart. If You don't mind that your daughter is in a class room full of Ava's use it but I'd choose Brenleigh/Brenlee/Brenle/Brynlee/Brynliegh.
Personally I'd never heard that name and its not very popular so when she gets to school she may be the only one in her class which is a great thing.
Believe me I know. I was one of 7 Ashley's in my graduating class and my class had a total of 50 people. My name was also in the top ten.
Be adventurous with the name but also remember. Creative spellings are only cute for the parents to show it off. When she gets into school she will hate having to spell it for everyone and when she becomes an adult of the spelling is wack she may be over looked for jobs because people fear calling and pronouncing it wrong. Brynley is a winner I'd say. Plus you can tell people you came up with the name together.
OH and if all else fails wait till the days the baby is born and look at her. you ll know for sure which name to use.

I think that Brynley Ava is nice. Your fiance doesn't HAVE to agree on the name, but if you really want to create a lasting family with him, I think you need to compromise on this. I definitely wouldn't do anything behind his back. Not a great way to start off your new family life together.

Alternate Spellings: Brynleigh, Brynlee, Brynly, Brynlie. My personal favorites are Brynleigh and Brynlee. Have you thought of using Brynley as the first name and Ava as a middle name or do you already have a middle name picked out?
It is true that Ava is quite popular, it came in at #1 on the List of Most Popular Names for Babies in 2006 so it will at least be in the top 10 for 2007. My kids all have popular names and it is frustrating for them at school since they have to be called by their last initial, or even last name because some of their classmates have the same last initial!
