When a computer beeps, it is usually not the main speakers, but a smaller speaker attached to the motherboard. The beeping can be caused by a variety of things.
If its a repetitive beeping, or one that happens randomly during use, it is usually due to a stuck key. If you hold 3 or more keys down at once, the computer gets a weird signal and just discards it- making a beep. The beeping happens a lot if a key is stuck/semistuck.
If it happens during bootup, the computer usually detects something during the POST (Power On Self Test). Before starting Windows, your computer does the virtual equivilent of checking for broken bones: Is the power on, are all the cables connected, is there a keyboard, is there a mouse, etc.
If the computer detects something wrong during the POST, it will beep to let the user know.
Now, if it isn't either of the above, it could be overheating. Check the temperatures with a utility like Speedfan (free). Above 60C is a cause for concern:

If none of the above seem to be the case, have a professional or the PC maker take a look at your computer.
Hope this helps!

It usually means something like your video card or sound card or some thing plugged into your motherboard is not working properly. There is usually a pattern to the "beeps" write down the pattern and go to the web site of your bios maker nd check the codes and it will tell you what's up.

It all depends on when its beeping, and how many beeps your hearing. If its during the initial start up there are different beep codes to alert you to Graphics card or RAM memory errors.

Beeps can propose BIOS blunders codes. maximum uncomplicated is for RAM. the blunders codes count on your BIOS producer. it is in simple terms too complicated for a classic guy or woman to attend to esp if its a computer. Take all of it the way down to a save.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
